Dear Gentle Reader:
With ultimate fidelity to God and drawing from the strength of our Christian education, we are at the threshold of history with LESA USA's 14th Annual Convention signifying the celebrations of the Golden Jubilee of our cherished Alma Mater: Our Lady of Lourdes College, Mankon, Bamenda, Cameroon.
In October 1963, Founding Father Matthew Nabben's vision materialized with a root that is true today as it was firm 50 decades ago: Educating a woman is educating the nation. The fruits of holistic education nurtured our early foundation that continues to shape life-long values with graduates gracing and transforming society in tangible and intangible dimensions. In the kitchen or in the Executive Boardroom, ALADI excels: Lourdes@50 and still the best.
LESA USA maintains an unbroken record of service that is sustained by undying spirit of sisterhood. Riding stronger in our 14th year, new frontiers are within reach. Ladies of the Golden Scepter step up with courage, conviction, conscience and commitment to cause.
The reconnect with our sisterhood, global fans and patrons is a profound moment that stores indelible memories. From the birth place the hero, Martin Further King, the diversified convention program is an investment in human developments with partnerships for cause.

Members are arriving from far and near, from Tunis, Africa; the Carolinas; and other regions in the United States to build on strengths, define the Golden Era, seize and savor the moment with a focused and brighter road ahead.

the friendship that we hold dear as we will travel the path again in the course of creating stronger communities.
