NJASA Executive Committee Approves Motion to Modify
Active Member Dues
COVID-19 was instrumental in a review of the NJASA Professional Development programs and services. Feedback from the NJASA membership indicated a preference for the convenience of virtual options and requested a continuation of that venue into the future.
After much discussion and careful deliberation around the NJASA mission and the array of professional learning opportunities, the NJASA Officers recommended the following.

  • Include Registration for the Association's annual Spring Leadership Conference and 8 One-Day Virtual Seminars in a revised dues structure for active members, the Association's premier level of membership for all certified school administrators

The NJASA Executive Committee approved these recommendations on April 15th.

Effective July 1, 2021 for the 2021-2022 school year, dues will be 1.2% of salary + $200 (for legal defense fund). Membership renewals will be disseminated the first week of May.

The Association is focused on your issues and will provide resources for securing your future and the future of the children you serve. The enhanced membership benefits for an NJASA active member will include:

  • NJASA attorney consultations for contract development, problem resolution, or assisting directly on district issues.

  • All One-Day Seminars will be delivered virtually and registration to the One-Day Seminars, as well as the Association's annual Spring Leadership Conference is included in your membership dues.

  • NJASA communications disseminated to your inbox offer a valuable resource of information to keep you well informed and up to date on all aspects of operating a school district.

  • A variety of opportunities for professional development, networking with colleagues and personal growth at NJASA's many conferences and professional development programs are available.

  • A chance to seek retirement advisement.
