We made small enhancements to names and definitions of the supplier justification form to accurately reflect the competitive bidding and supplier selection process, make reporting easier, and be in compliance with uniform guidance and Tufts Procurement policies.
What's new?

"Lowest of three bids" has been renamed "Competitive Bid": Select this when you receive multiple quotes even if you did choose the lowest.

Selected Source is now broader and is intended to include situations where you did not go out to bid but instead went with a preferred supplier or had another acceptable reason.

Sole Source should be used very sparingly when there is no other supplier capable of providing the goods, services, or technology.
