BLP Expands Reach with ASDEPCO and The Greens For a Better Environment

BLP is proud to announce new partnerships that will significantly enhance our environmental protection initiatives in the North West Region of Cameroon. By collaborating with ASDEPCO and The Greens, we aim to expand our reach, increase our impact, and work towards a more sustainable future.

Strengthening Environmental Protection Through Partnerships

Partnerships are essential for achieving meaningful and sustainable change in environmental protection. By bringing together diverse perspectives, resources, and expertise, we can more effectively address the interconnectedness of environmental issues.

BLP's Commitment to Environmental Sustainability

BLP has been actively involved in environmental sustainability initiatives since 2023. Our previous collaborations, such as the "Reforesting Hope" and "Promoting Sustainable Waste Management" projects, have demonstrated our commitment to addressing pressing environmental challenges.

Partnership with ASDEPCO

On August 14, 2024, BLP signed a partnership agreement with ASDEPCO (Association for Sustainable Development and Poverty Eradication in Cameroon). This collaboration aims to:

• Conduct joint research: Explore environmental issues and develop solutions together.
• Advocate for environmental policies: Promote policies that protect the environment.
• Raise awareness: Educate communities about environmental protection.
• Engage with communities: Involve local communities in environmental initiatives.
• Support local actions: Provide resources and guidance for environmental projects.

Key Action Plans

The partnership with ASDEPCO will focus on:

• Education and awareness programs: Conducting environmental education workshops in schools and organizing radio programs.
• Advocacy campaigns: Promoting environmental protection through public campaigns and media outreach.
• Waste management initiatives: Removing plastic waste from the Mulang River and other areas.

Partnership with The Greens

On September 3, 2024, BLP formed a partnership with The Greens. This collaboration will:

• Environmental education: Teach students about environmental issues and sustainable practices.
• Advocacy campaigns: Raise awareness and advocate for environmental policies.
• Waste management: Remove plastic waste from the Mulang River and other areas.

The partnership with The Greens will focus on:
