Want To Change A Life?

Do you have 30 minutes a week to change a life? Take Stock in Children offers high school students in our program a volunteer mentor, a College Readiness Coach, and skill building workshops to help prepare them for college. Upon graduation from high school and the program, students are awarded a 2-year college scholarship.

Become a mentor to a deserving Take Stock student! By simply being a caring adult offering consistent support, guidance and encouragement, YOU can make a significant impact on a student's life and path to success.

"I want to thank my mentor for always believing in me, even when I doubted myself. Your guidance, support, and honest feedback have shaped not only my education but also my confidence and mindset. You've been a constant source of inspiration - pushing me to aim higher, think deeper, and never settle for less than my best. I'm incredibly grateful for the tie you've invested in me and the example you've set." - TSIC Grad, Class of 2025

Mentors meet with students weekly during school hours on their high school campus and a virtual option is available. Learn more by emailing Shannon Rininger!

Donate at Amscot in March

Amscot's Just A Dollar campaign kicks off in March. The community can support students in Seminole County Public Schools by contributing just one dollar at Amscot locations.

These dollars are matched up to $40,000, strengthening local scholarships and student support programs. The campaign will run all month long during March at any location.

Opening Doors to Learning

Through a $20,000 grant, the Ryan Foundation is helping open doors to learning by ensuring that students begin each school year prepared, confident, and ready to learn.

These funds support Tools 4 Seminole School's annual distribution of backpacks and essential school supplies for students in need across Seminole County Public Schools. At the start of each school year, more than 3,500 backpacks are provided to students from low-income households.

The Ryan Foundation has been a dedicated supporter of this program for more than 15 years, thank you for this lasting partnership.

Creating Inclusive Learning Environments

Through a $50,000 grant from the Universal Orlando Foundation, the Sensory Space at Endeavor School will receive a much needed remodel and update. Designed to support students with special needs, this calming environment will provide positive, effective spaces where learners can regulate emotions, refocus, and engage more fully in their education.

Given Endeavor's unique student population, access to specialized resources like this sensory space is essential to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning experience. These funds will significantly enhance the school's ability to meet the diverse needs of their students and help them build confidence and independence. Thank you Universal Orlando Foundation!
