THE FOUNDATION | September 2022
Hurricane Ian
The school district plays a vital role in the safety of our community throughout times like these. Seminole County Public Schools and The Foundation will be closed from Wednesday, September 28th through Friday, September 30th due to hurricane Ian. Shelter sites and opening hours will be shared by the Seminole County Office of Emergency Management by Wednesday, September 28th. You can register for storm-specific alerts by texting STORM2022 to 888-777. We hope that you all make appropriate preparations and stay safe!
Publix Provides Needed Supplies
Over the summer, Tools 4 Seminole Schools (T4SS) and Publix teamed up for a Back to School Drive. We asked our community to visit any Publix location in Seminole County and donate to T4SS at the cash register. We are excited to announce that through this campaign our community donated over $55,000, the most raised since the campaign started in 2018.

Thanks to Publix and supporters like you, students will receive the supplies they need to be in school, ready to learn.
