A Little Time. A Lot of Success.
One of the most valuable things you can give is your time. Hear from a mentor and scholar to learn how you can help change a student’s life with the Take Stock in Children-Seminole program.

Duke Energy Supports STEM... Again!
The Duke Energy Foundation continues to support our classrooms by donating $40,000 to be used solely for improving STEM education; Science Technology, Engineering and Math . The Grants for Great Ideas program distributes most of these funds and targets recipients who may not otherwise be exposed to STEM opportunities.

Carol Unterriner, Milwee Middle School teacher and grant recipient, encourages girls to engage in STEM by facilitating the Girls Engineering Breakfast Club. Each meeting had over 50 girls in attendance last year. They participated in STEM activities and heard from female leaders in STEM careers who shared their experiences.

Keeping the Arts Alive in Seminole
Join us for an evening of cocktails, auctions and exciting performances! Arts Alive in Seminole will be held on Saturday, October 27th at the Westin Lake Mary.

There are many ways to support the performing and visual arts in every Seminole County Public School. From sponsoring the performers Green Room to buying your next vacation at our live auction, the fun is endless and the impact will support the arts for years to come.

In case you missed it!
The Wells Fargo Foundation recently donated $10,000 to Take Stock In Children - Seminole. These funds will help provide 92 low-income, at-risk student with college readiness support.

Wells Fargo, our scholars thank you for investing in their future!
With the help of community partners like the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office, Ohio State Alumni Association and SCCPTA, Tools 4 Seminole Schools packed over 3,500 backpacks to give directly to our students most in need.
