The Foundation Says Thank You
We’re sad we weren’t able to hold our in-person Donor Appreciation Event this year due to COVID-19, but we still wanted to show our appreciation for our donors and share the impact they had this year . We thank our supporters for all the donations to help our students, teachers, and support staff in SCPS this past school year.

Their financial donations and time spent volunteering have made such a huge impact in our student's lives. Watch our video to see all of the amazing things happening with your help.

Going Above and Beyond
The Foundation asked the community to assist our students in need during this time and they answered by raising over $75,000 for Families in Need (FIN) . In just one month, over 250 people donated and every dollar will go to help students, whether it was a $10 individual donation or one of our corporate partners who donated $5,000. In addition, essential school supplies are being collected at Tools 4 Seminole Schools to create At-Home Toolkits to support student’s at-home learning.

A special thank you to the Florida Blue , Douglas G. Halliday Foundation , Addition Financial, Duke Energy and Jessica Koulianos for going above and beyond for our students during this time of need.

"Smile" for SCPS
We could all use “A Smile” right now! When you’re home shopping on Amazon, be sure The Foundation is selected as your charity of choice. A portion of all your Amazon purchases will benefit the teachers and students of Seminole County Public Schools - at no cost to you!

New Date - Same Great Cause
We're excited to announce our Golf FORE Education Tournament has been rescheduled for Monday, September 28, 2020. Thank you to Insurance Office of America and all our sponsors for their patience and understanding as we worked to find this new date.

Have You Heard?
Thank you to our School Board Chairman   Karen Almond , who recently donated $5,000 to help fund a second Physics Bus.

Thy Physics Bus travels to each elementary school to reinforce math and science standards with hands-on experiments.
In February Take Stock In Children had a Financial Literacy Workshop where students learned about budgeting, making smart financial decisions and maximizing usage of their scholarships.

Special thanks to our special guests from Wells Fargo who shared the Hands on Banking Program.
