COVID-19 Increasing Needs for Students
Due to COVID-19, Seminole County Public Schools is seeing an increase in need for food and other essential items for our students. Currently, SCPS has over 1,200 homeless students and 30,000 students in low-income households.

These working families are feeling the burden of the economic slowdown. Here's how you can help:
  • Donate financially to Families in Need: this is the best way to serve the greatest number of students. Text SCPS to 243725 or donate to FIN online at www.FoundationSCPS.org. We will use these funds to purchase food for individual families/school food pantries, hygiene items, and other supplies for students.
  • Donate grocery gift cards in $25 increments to be given to families for short term assistance.

  • Donate non-perishable food to support local school food pantries. starting March 23rd.

Please share this information with others who may be able to help. If know of you have any students that need assistance, please ask them to visit FIN section of the SCPS website .

The Foundation is Here for SCPS
During this time, The Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools is working and will continue to support students, teachers and the district to respond to emerging needs. To help with prevention efforts, we are rescheduling larger events such as the Golf FORE Education Tournament and moving all necessary meetings to teleconference.

We thank all of our supporters for their understanding and we hope we can count on everyone’s continued support. We are and will continue to raise funds to support students and teachers because we know in the coming months it will become even more important to ensure students in need have resources to succeed in the classroom.
