Supporting the Arts
Thanks to our Michelangelo Sponsor, Orlando Health South Seminole , and our generous attendees, we raised over $189,000 to support visual and performing arts in Seminole County Public Schools this past weekend.

Proceeds from this event are distributed to every public school to support their arts programs, as well as funding district-wide art initiatives, such as All-County Chorus, Thespian Competitions, and Art Shows. Arts Alive! featured performances by more than 12 student groups, giving these children a chance to perform in a professional setting. The evening also featured dinner and a live and silent auction. Thank you to everyone who came out to support the arts!   
XQ Rewards Innovation
XQ Institute awarded an additional grant of $2.5 million to the PSI High Program through the Foundation. This grant, which will be paid over 3 years, will support PSI High, which is an immersive, full-time program for high school students.

Rather than learn through traditional classroom instruction, students work in teams with their peers or teachers to solve real problems. Students earn credit through project based work, picking problems that interest them, such as how to code an app or start a non-profit. XQ was started in 2015 as an effort to re-imagine high school so that every student succeeds.
