THE FOUNDATION | December 2022
Thank You For Making An Impact!
On Saturday, December 3rd, The Foundation hosted a brand-new inaugural fundraising event called A Night of Impact, which was a gala held at the Westin Lake Mary. With the generous support from sponsors and attendees, over $224,000 was raised to support students. The mission is to ensure that every child can come to school, ready to learn.
"This event was a chance to have a good time for great cause. Our supporters really stepped up to make sure students have the resources and support to excel in the classroom. It’s amazing to see how our community values education, including supporters like Orlando Health and our Diamond Sponsors: Duke Energy, VMG Construction, and Wharton-Smith” shared Jean Vansmith, Executive Director of The Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools.

Thank you to everyone in our community who came together to join us in making an impact! Read more.
Give the Gift of Education This Season
This Holiday Season, the best gift you can give is the gift of education. Support world-class education in Seminole County Public Schools with a donation to The Foundation for SCPS.

Supporters like you make it possible to start each school year by distributing 3,500 backpacks filled with supplies to students in need and end the school year by providing over 60 college scholarships, many of them going to first-generation college bound students.
Thanks to the generous donation from WEV Local Impact Fund, the first $10,000 donated will be matched dollar for dollar. We need your help more than ever and your donation will help ensure all students have the opportunity to be successful. Please consider making a gift online HERE or texting SCPS to 243736.

A big thank you to the Ryan Foundation for their $10,000 grant to Tools 4 Seminole Schools! Funds will assist providing school supplies to students in need.

Given the long-term impacts of the pandemic and rising costs of basic needs due to inflation, we know many students and families feel tremendous financial stress ensuring their students have all they need to be in school ready to learn.
Thank you Sanford Porchfest for the $10,000 donation to fund four scholarships to the Class of 2023 who plan to major in the Arts! Utilizing the Jump Start program, Sanford Porchfest will be providing these students with a Florida Prepaid Foundation 2-year Jump Start Scholarship.
