THE FOUNDATION | October 2022
Join Us at A Night of Impact!
Our brand-new Foundation gala, A Night of Impact, is nearly sold out! The event will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 and will give guests a premier experience while raising funds to support amazing programs in Seminole County Public Schools. Funds raised are used to support school and district programs in the areas of STEM, scholarships, visual and performing arts, essential supplies for students and more.

We will be showcasing the impact our donors have on education through the Foundation and how they are making students' dreams come true.

Florida Blue Supports Foundation Programs
The Foundation would like to thank the Florida Blue Foundation for their continued support of our programs! Their recent $20,000 grant will benefit a variety of Foundation programs designed to meet the critical needs of both educators and students. These include Take Stock in Children, Grants for Great Ideas, Tools 4 Seminole Schools, and more.

Thank you for being such a generous community partner! Read more.
Supporting SCPS Teachers and Employees
The Foundation has created a Hurricane Ian Relief and Recovery Fund. Donations will help lift up Seminole County Public Schools and its over 8,500 teachers and employees. Your support will assist with relief and recovery efforts.

Over 120 SCPS employees have already been identified as having unmet needs. Please consider donating to support the employees who support our children. In the event that more funds are raised than are needed to address hurricane relief efforts, remaining funds will be directed to the Families in Need program to provide resources to students that are homeless or low-income.

Have You Heard?
Thank you, Seminole County FL CSA for a grant of over $18,000 to the Midway Safe Harbor Center!

This program provides school-district operated, community-based learning and enrichment opportunities for students in grades K-12. Thank you for caring for our students!
The Andrew & Dorothy Cochrane Foundation donated $10,000 to two of our programs, ESOL and Tools 4 Seminole Schools.

They are longtime supporters and have been donating funds to us since 2013. We could not be more thankful for their continued support of our students and teachers!
