Free Textile Recycling on the UWS
The Columbus-Amsterdam BID is hosting a free Textile Recycling Event on  Sunday, September 15 from  11:00am to 4:00pm at 110th Street & Amsterdam Avenue (part of Bloomingdale Family Days).  At this event, you can bring and recycle the following items:  clean textiles, including clothing and shoes, handbags, blankets, sheets, curtains, towels, etc. For more information, contact the  Columbus-Amsterdam BID at ( 212) 666-9774. 

Textile recycling also takes place at several Upper West Side Greenmarket locations. Check the Grow NYC website for details
Power Outage Reimbursements
Con Edison is accepting claims for residential or commercial spoilage, as well as general claims for damages, due to recent power outages. These claims can now be submitted more than 30 days after the July outages. Click here for more information and to submit your claim.
National Preparedness Month
