Enjoy Nature in the Coastal Bend

In this week's article, I will be highlighting some opportunities to experience the nature and wildlife that is native to the Coastal Bend. The Coastal Bend is also home to several parks and preserves that serve as a refuge for migratory birds and other wildlife. These habitats contribute to one of the best examples of nature-based activities for visitors and residents in our area. Both Corpus Christi and Port Aransas are part of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department's Great Texas Coastal Birding Trail, an online resource providing information about the best locations to spot birds and other wildlife. Open Government Conference for the general public, government employees, public officials, representatives of the media and companies doing business with Texas government.

Attendees will receive state credit for open government training required of certain public employees.

Sessions are FREE and meals are included.
