West Side Town Hall Meeting

Build the Block Meeting
On Thursday, April 18 at 7:30pm, Upper West Siders are welcome to attend a community meeting with 20th Precinct Neighborhood Coordination Officers Bridget Fanning and Roberto Vasquez. This Build the Block meeting will take place  at the  Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (125 Columbus Avenue); doors open at 7:00pm.  Build the Block meetings provide locals with updates about the neighborhood and allow community members to share concerns. This meeting is free to attend. 
Rat Academy Workshops
Two Rat Academy Workshops are taking place this month  for locals to  learn about safe and effective methods of ridding your neighborhood, business, or home of rodents

City Council Speaker Corey Johnson is hosting a workshop on  Thursday, April 4 at 6:30pm
at the Holy Apostles Church at 296 9th Avenue (at 28th Street). Click here to RSVP to the workshop. 

The NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene will host workshop on Thursday, April 11, from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. The workshop will take place at The Church of Jesus Chris of Latter-day Saints (125 Columbus Ave). 

At both events, The NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene will be raffling off rodent-proof garbage cans. 
Participatory Budgeting Voting
Participatory Budgeting for Fiscal Year 2020 takes place now through Sunday, April 7. There are a number of projects in District 3 (Speaker Corey Johnson) and District 6 (Council Member Helen Rosenthal) to vote on. You can find your local polling station by clicking here or you can vote online here
SAFE Disposal Events
