Whats new at Silver Willow
New Hours of Operation

 

Regular Winter Hours:

 

THURSDAY - SUNDAY,  

with reservations from 9:00 AM to 2 hours before dusk.  

3 pm is the last shoot time for Saturday and Sundays

We are closed on at 5:00 pm weekends.  

 

Please call ahead to book 403.337.2490 

 

We may be closed due to inclement weather, be sure to call ahead so you are not disappointed

Spring Opener - March 7th  
 200 Registered CNSCA targets  

 

$190.00 ( includes lunch)  

 

8:30 am - Registration begins    

10:00 am - Start time first 100 

12:00 noon - Lunch provided 

1:00 pm - Start time second 100  

4:00 pm - Shoot offs and Awards  

 

Hunter Class is available to those who are not CNSCA members. Membership is 25.00 and a 20.00 annual fee. Membership can be purchased the day of the shoot.

Saturday, March 14 - Annual Guides Appreciation Dinner - Guides please make sure you have sent in your RSVP by next Thursday March 12.

 

Saturday, April 4, FUN Shoot - Annual Lorne Howes Cancer Fundraiser (100 targets) Open to Everyone. Lots of prizes and part of the entry fee is a donation to the Alberta Cancer Foundation. Cost $95.00 ( 25.00 tax receipt) Lunch included.  

 

Sunday, April 12, PAL course is offered for restricted and non restricted fire arms licensing. All day course, 9:30 - 4:30 pm. Must be pre paid by Thursday before. Please call or email us if your interested.  

 

Silver Willow is hosting 17 official events in 2014. Our calendar has competitive, fundraising, team building and fun events for shooters of all levels. Instructor Profile
Stu Carter
 
Stu Carter lives in Calgary AB, and is an NSCA certified level 1 and level 2 instructor. He holds 4 Alberta Provincial, 3 Western Canadian and 1 Canadian, High Over All, Championship titles. He was Team Captain for the Canadian Team participating in New Zealand World Sporting Clays in 2011 and brought home two gold medals from the World Senior Games hosting in the US in 2013 ! Stu can often be found at Silver Willow shooting and guiding eager participants. This is a photo of Stu giving pointers at the National Sporting Clays event here at Silver Willow.

Private Instruction - Male, female, or junior shooter, our instructors can help you achieve your personal shooting goals. $100.00 per hour and 10.00 per hour for additional people, up to 2 people in a group.

 

Silver Willow is proud to offer male and female instructors and has both Level 1 and 2, NSCA Certified shooting instructors available.
