My goodness, if you’re reading this that means another week has gone by.
I’m going to be honest with you, we’ve been so busy getting ready for the Lake Loop Shop Hop and we completely lost track of time. After 2.5 years of not being able to host events, we forgot what goes into hosting an event... Just like when you’re having company over, there’s cleaning and organizing, planning activities… I won’t share our full to-do list, thinking about it stresses me out!
What’s the Lake Loop Shop Hop?
T he simplest description is that the Lake Loop Shop Hop is an opportunity to take a scenic drive around Lake Simcoe, checking out the fall colours and visiting six amazing quilt shops. There will be quilty inspiration, prizes and of course a whole lot of fun! You can find the detailed information about the shop hop on the Lake Loop Shop Hop website.

Blue Star Beauty is a 14” x 44” table runner pattern designed by our very own Leianne. Leianne loves the Lemoyne Star and she set out to design a table runner to feature these stars in all their glory.
With the Blue Escape table runner kit you have the option of two different layouts. You get to decide which stars will be the main attraction of your table runner by your choice of placement of the dark blue fabric.
Ruler Required! The Blue Star Beauty pattern is written specifically for the Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star tool from Studio 180.

Fair Isle Block of the Month - Starting Again Soon! |

It’s no secret that Leianne fell in love with the Fair Isle Block of the Month pattern by Studio 180. She loved it so much she had her eye out for non-batik option and finally found it with the Blue Escape fabrics. With a new fabic option in hand, she convinced Tami to join in the fun and make this quilt. Not only that, but, with a bit more arm twisting, Tami was convinced to share her progress in the private Fair Isle Facebook group. Tami will be making the quilt, in real time, along with anyone who signs up for this next launch of the Block of the Month program. |

These Tools are an Investment!
Leianne is a passionate believer that your Studio 180 tools are an investment, and she wants to reassure that, not only will these tools help you achieve accurate piecing and less stress for this project, but they will help you on all future projects as well! When you join the Fair Isle Block of the Month, beginning in October and over the course of the next year, you will receive monthly pre-recorded instructional videos to help guide you through the cutting and piecing assignments for the month. You will have unlimited access to these videos and will be able to watch them at your own pace. You will also be able to reach out to Leianne for support and participate in a private Facebook group with the other members of the Block of the Month.
While the videos will feature the Bellingham Bay fabrics, the instructional materials with the Blue Escape kit will make it easy to follow along.

Why should I join the Block of the Month Program?
Can’t I just buy the pattern and make the quilt myself?
Yes, you may opt to buy the pattern separately and make the quilt with your own fabrics, at your own pace. The value of this Block of the Month will be the monthly instructional videos. You will be able to access these videos as often as you need to help you fully understand the tasks at hand. In addition to the monthly videos, there will also be a bonus set of Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star instructional videos included at a no extra charge.
There will also be a private Facebook Group to share progress and ask questions along the way.
