The Kingdom of God is at Hand

Oh Lord our God, you come to us today with a promise and an invitation. The promise to be a part of the kingdom, and an invitation to follow you, to “repent and believe in the gospel.” We can be so wrapped up in our lives and issues that distract us from what is really important. You call us in order to break through to us a higher priority, a higher purpose. Grant us the grace today to listen closer to your message in our hearts, our longings and our eternal future. Allow us to spend the time we need to listen to your voice in our prayer. We ask this of you in Christ’s name. Amen.
