"The stormy March has come at last,

With wind, and cloud, and changing skies;

I hear the rushing of the blast

That through the snowy valley flies."

- William Cullen Bryant

Winter Fire

Calm Before the Storm

This year Winter Fire was held on a beautiful snowy evening. Attendees enjoyed a snow-covered garden walk followed by s'mores and hot cider. Thank you to those who joined us!

Thank you, Matthew!

Our Facilities Manager, Matthew Noiseux, did a phenomenal job making sure the grounds were plowed and safe for our caretaker, staff, and visitors. This is the most snow the arboretum has seen since 2015. Please come enjoy our cleared driveway and parking lot, and enjoy snowshoeing through the gardens.

Staff Note

Early spring has started with a bang! The gardens are sleeping under a very thick blanket of snow while rabbits, raccoons, squirrels and coyotes skirt across the top looking for food. The garden is a magical place if you have a pair of snowshoes, come visit and enjoy the snow in the March sunshine.

We also want to thank everyone who contributed to our yearly fundraiser. You are so appreciated!
