Many of our visitors have been inquiring about Betty, and we are happy to share this update. Betty is now living her best life in the beautiful landscapes of Maine, where she has formed a new connection with another llama, alongside two donkeys.

Dunkin' Brands sends a Big Volunteer Contingent to Wakefield Arboretum

This month, we had the pleasure of hosting the MNLA Plant Geek Day Conference, a remarkable gathering that brought together 150 passionate industry professionals, making it a great event for our Arboretum. The conference was a resounding success, featuring insightful talks by Matthew Noiseux, Ellen Scheid, and Debbie Merriam, who spoke about topics from the intriguing world of conifers to the importance of native plants and the art of building meadows. This event served as an excellent opportunity to welcome new visitors to our gardens, inviting them to explore the innovative programs and conservation initiatives we have in place. Thank you to all attendees and volunteers.
