Help Beautify Dixon and meet at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 10 in front of Dixon High School, 300 Mark Dallas Way. Gloves and garbage bags provided. The group has brooms, but feel free to bring your own. All are welcome to help! Thank you!

It’s always a beautiful, European-themed night along the Riverfront for Venetian Night presented by Sauk Valley Bank! Save the date!


Come on down to the Riverfront at 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10 and make it a night to remember!


Magicians, street performers, face painting, spaghetti eating contest, mini boat races, a glow stick party, mystery rock hunt, fireworks and more details to come!

The Dixon Sister Cities Association will welcome our German visitors from July 19 to 28.


The public is invited to a small greeting reception upon arrival in Dixon (7:30 to 8 p.m. approx..) on July 19 with host families in the Community Room of the Public Safety Building, 220 S. Hennepin Ave. Park at Library.


There will also be a Meet and Greet Social at 5:30 p.m. July 23 at The Next Picture Show, 113 W. First St., and an informal meet and greet at 5 p.m. July 26 at The Crystal Cork, 219 W. First St.
