Northwest Christian School's own reality-based
cooking show is The Great Crusader Cookoff!
The Dutch reformed theologian Abraham Kuyper once said, "There is not a square inch in the whole domain of our human existence over which Christ, who is Sovereign over all, does not cry, 'Mine!'" Does that include the kitchen? You bet!
In the Great Crusader Cookoff, both students and staff take to the kitchen to compete - sometimes against each other! And, in the process, we continue to see that we can grow the Kingdom and glorify God's name when we take the gifts, talents, interests, and abilities that He gives us, place them on the altar, and use them for His purposes.
