Chamber Board Nominations
Dalen McVay, Enid Chamber Chairman-elect, is chairing the Nominating committee, as outlined in the Chamber by-laws, to develop a slate of directors to replace the Chamber directors who will be completing their three-year terms on June 30, 2017.

2017 Enid Day at the Capitol Attendees
10th Annual Enid Day at the Capitol a Success!
The 10th Annual Enid Day at the Capitol was held on February 28. Over 40 Enid business and academic leaders attended and helped host the event. Representatives from the Enid Chamber, ERDA, Main Street Enid and the City of Enid attended the breakfast and networking event along with those from Enid Public Schools, Autry Technology Center, Northern Oklahoma College and Northwestern Oklahoma State University. Also attending were members of Leadership Greater Enid Class 26. The event was well attended by legislators, agency officials and staff. Special thanks to State Representative Chad Caldwell, Senator Roland Pederson and Lt. Gov. Todd Lamb for speaking to our Enid group.

TAMBI BROWN
Hometown:  Born in Waynoka, OK but have lived in Enid for 16 years
Family: Married to Billy Brown; we have three amazing children: Taggart, Brenli, and Taelyn; 3 dogs and a cat.   
O ccupation:  I am the Small Business Management Coordinator at Autry Technology Center.  I work one on one with existing small businesses in the area on their business development.  I also coordinate group training for small businesses on anything from business taxes, to QuickBooks, to social media classes.
Tell us four of your favorite things:
I am a huge Oklahoma State fan and Chisholm Longhorn fan.  I love the beach and I enjoy reading .
What would you do with 30 minutes of free time?  I would spend time with my family!  I am fortunate to have two amazing sisters and I do not get to see them as often as I would like!  
What makes you unique?  My ability to try to see things from many perspectives.  I make an effort to not have tunnel vision.  It is a characteristic that has proven to be very beneficial both professionally and personally. 
Favorite thing about Enid?  My favorite thing is the people. We have a great community!

Hometown: Helena, OK
Family: Married to Suzanne and have 3 kids. Brooklyn (10), Casey (9) and Jordan (4)
Occupation: Owner of Kool Foam LLC. We started Kool Foam as a side job and it's become a big part of our life! We do insulation, erosion control for pipelines and containment services for all sorts of different applications.
Tell us four of your favorite things:
I love doing Crossfit, which is good because I love good food! I love music. I'm learning the bass guitar now, and always have a wide variety of music playing in the background. I enjoy reading, and usually have at least a couple of books going at once, Spiritual, business, historical fiction and self improvement are some of my favorites.
W hat would you do with 30 minutes of free time? Either a book or TV series on Netflix.
What makes you unique?
I am always looking to expand my knowledge and find a better way to do things.
Favorite thing about Enid? Probably the trail system! Looking forward to seeing it expand!
