Cornwall Library Newsletter Mid-December 2020
2021 is nearly here! For many people, the new year marks an opportunity to set New Year's resolutions or a chance for a fresh start. Come by and put your wishes on our Wish Tree. Take a piece of ribbon, make a wish that you don’t tell anyone, and tie it to the tree. You’ll know which tree, because it will be full of colorful yarn (thanks for this goes to the Youth Services Department)!! But hurry, this opportunity will be gone on January 21st. We will of course take a picture of the wish tree just before taking it apart. I hope all of our wishes come true!

This holiday season is unlike any other, to cap off a year unlike any other. As we move into a new (and hopefully better) year, we wish you moments of peace amid the difficulties, connections with loved ones, even if they cannot be in person, the warmth of memories from holidays past, and beautiful glimpses of the joy that still lives under the surface. We are here for you through it all.

From all of us at CPL, we wish you and yours a safe and joyous holiday season as well as a Healthy, prosperous and peaceful new year!

Oh and here’s a new thing. If you use Libby, or not, check out all the new e-magazines that have become available through the app! There are some really good ones, wish I had more time to read them all!! Need help, give us a call, we’ll be happy to walk you through the process!

Happy Healthy 2021!!

EKB Check
On behalf of the Friends of Cornwall Library and the Cornwall Public Library, we are grateful to EKB Kitchens/ Matthew & Kathryn Wilhelm Charitable Fund for their generous grant donation of $700.00 to assist us in our goals to enhance our efforts in providing high tech equipment to our patrons.

We continually strive to highlight that knowledge is power as well as promote a safe and healthy environment for patrons and staff.

This significant grant will be very valuable in helping us serve our community and provide a more informed citizenry for a better tomorrow through technology.
