XWA Air Show September 11

Williston Economic Development - Williston Basin International Airport (XWA) is gearing up for its first annual air show on Saturday, September 11th. The event is free and open to the public! The gates will open at 7 a.m. with a Fly-in Pancake Breakfast hosted by the Williston Lions Club. A free will offering will be accepted. The morning will also feature static exhibits and simulators, a ribbon cutting and open house, aircraft performances and fun activities for people of all ages. Read More

Crusoe Energy celebrates Ribbon Cutting in Williston

Williston Economic Development - Crusoe Energy held a ribbon cutting and open house at its new facility in Williston on Thursday, July 29. Crusoe is located at 2317 2nd Street West. The company provides an alternative to natural gas flaring in the oil patch. Crusoe utilizes the natural gas to mine bitcoin in the Bakken.
Williston Chamber launches Retail Passport Program

Williston Herald - The Williston Area Chamber of Commerce works year-round to promote small businesses. Now, the chamber is implementing a new program to further encourage shopping local. It's called the Retail Passport Program, and it's a part of the chamber's ongoing Shop Local campaign, which encourages the community to support local businesses in Williston. Connecting Communities BBQ held in Stanley

Williston Economic Development - Western Region Economic Development (WRED) held a Connecting Communities BBQ in Stanley on Thursday, July 29. WRED hosts the free events to show its support for neighboring towns. The BBQ's feature food, fun and a live radio broadcast with Cherry Creek Radio. Two more summer BBQ's are slated in 2021. They will be held in Culbertson on August 12 and in Wildrose on August 18. The BBQ's are free and open to the public!

Drone Camp, Robot Camp coming to Tioga in August

News Release - The fifth annual Drone Camp for Kids will be held August 14-15 in Tioga while the Robotics Camp will be held August 14. Drone camp is for kids in fifth to 12th grade while Robotics Camp is geared to middle and high school students. Click on the links to register!
