Special Notice! Construction Alert

The Town of Southborough Facilities Dept. will be working on the downstairs parking lot entrance this morning and the remainder of the week. The Facilities team is hoping to repair and replace much of the damage to the pillars supporting the archway outside the door. The entrance will remain open, but there may be some disruptions while work is underway. Please use the library's historic front entrance or access the building through our emergency exists, which will be open and accessible for the duration of the project.

The Southborough Library is pleased to offer discounts to area museums and programs through our Museum Passes for our patrons as part of our work to build a vibrant community of lifelong learners!

Discount and Museum Information

Patrons can visit our museum pass information on our website to view:

participating museums and available passes
discount details by clicking on the museum name

Please note:

the discount pass does not give you entry in the museum
you will need to also contact the museum to determine admission & plan your visit
patrons can only reserve one pass a day

How To Reserve a

Museum Pass Online

Visit our website homepage at southboroughlib.org and click on the blue "I Want To" drop down menu
Select "Reserve Museum Pass"
Determine the date of your visit
Search by specific pass and availability (drop down)
Select "Request Pass"
Enter your 14 digit library barcode on the back of your library card as well as your PIN (usually the last four digits of the phone number on record)
Hit the green "Submit Button"
After your card has been verified, select the green "continue" button
Review the booking information and select the green "continue button" at the bottom of the screen
Click on the green "Submit This Request" button

Upon successful reservation, you will see "Congratulations. This Pass Reservation is Complete" and receive an email confirmation.

Canceling Your Reservation:

Please call the Southborough Library at 508-485-5031 if you are no longer able to visit and we can cancel your reservation so that other patrons may use the pass. Thank you!

Picking Up & Returning Your Pass

Once your Museum Pass has been booked, please pick up the pass at the Southborough Library prior to your museum visit.

Passes must be picked up the day before or the same day of your visit.

Unless it is specifically an e-pass, museums will not accept an email confirmation from the Southborough Library for entrance.

Laminate passes must be returned the next day in the pouch (in the outside blue book drops located by the side entrance door near the parking lot or checked-in at a circulation desk) to avoid a late fee and to ensure the next patron will be able to pick up the pass on time.

Paper passes do not need to be returned to the library.
