Spotlight Speaker Series (2/12)
Attend the RCIE Spotlight Speaker Series on February 12th featuring Justin Klein, Partner of Ballard Spahr LLP, who will discuss raising capital. Second Rowan Student Startup Lands on the Shelves at Whole Foods
Jacques Engelbrecht '18 completed the RCIE Summer Accelerator program this past summer. From only a homemade prototype 7 months ago, Jacques' company is now producing product at scale with a co-packer and just started in the food incubator at the Cherry Hill Whole Foods. Congrats Jacques.
Hauk Aeronautics Awarded $5,000 Stage I Grant
Hauk Aeronautics is designing the Mk-1, a bicopter electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft for recreational fliers that will allow them to travel quickly without emitting CO2 pollution. Hauk, the 1st Place winner this past Spring in the 2019 New Venture Competition, has continued development of their prototype and was just awarded a stage 1 grant from VentureWell. Learn more here.
RCIE Runs 45 Events During Fall Semester

CEO Club Announces 2020 Executive Board
Congratulations to our newly elected CEO Club Officers: President Tanvi Koduru, Vice President Jimmy Benavente, Treasurer Nathanial Brilliant, and Secretary Reham Madbouly. These young leaders will begin their terms in January 2020.
UIF Pinning Ceremony
Congratulations to the third cohort of Rowan University's University Innovation Fellows (UIF). The Fellows seek to find a solution on campus and have identified a campus need, conceived and obtained approval from the Rowan Department of Public Safety to launch a multi-month Design Thinking project to address pedestrian safety on our campus.  Congrats Gillian Castaldo, Erin DeBiasse, Alison Price, and Michael Weinberg!
