DECEMBER 2023 EDITION

A look back on 2023

In 2023, the School of Innovation & Entrepreneurship experienced remarkable growth. Our freshman entrepreneurship class reached an all-time high, and Rowan's undergraduate entrepreneurship program proudly received recognition as #1 in NJ, #5 regionally, and #40 nationally by Princeton Review and Entrepreneur Magazine. We also offered the largest amount of prize money to student startups and ran the most student programming to date. We're excited to build on this momentum in 2024!

2023 Idea Challenge showcases interdisciplinary student startups

Each fall, the Rowan Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship teams up with the Rowan Innovation Venture Fund, along with sponsors Rohrer College of Business, the Henry M. Rowan College of Engineering and the College of Science and Mathematics, to give Rowan students the opportunity to move their idea forward. The annual showcase encourages entrepreneurial thinking and interdisciplinary collaboration. This year, 48 teams competed and over 50 judges from the Rowan community joined us for the competition.
