JANUARY 2024 EDITION

Welcome back! As we kick off the new year and jump into the Spring semester, we're excited to celebrate Rowan University's centennial, marking 100 years of academic excellence and innovation.

We're also pleased to share that our new Certificate of Undergraduate Studies (CUGS) in Creative Industries Entrepreneurship has officially launched. This CUGS is tailored to blend creative pursuits with entrepreneurial skills, offering students a chance to develop both sets of skills and mindsets. Many creative minds on campus, spanning music, art, writing arts, theater, and more, are eager to avoid the 'starving artist' stigma. This program offers a hybrid option for students to cultivate both entrepreneurial and creative capabilities. To learn more about the program and how to enroll, click here.

Looking ahead to the semester, there are plenty of opportunities to network, innovate, collaborate, and secure seed funding. The 17th annual New Venture Competition is set for April 19th with a first-place prize of $30,000. Additionally, RCIE is offering various workshops and mentorship opportunities for learning and growth. Stay updated on events and competition applications through StartupTree.
