The RCIE was recognized for its mission of "championing the next generation of entrepreneurs, innovators, and change-makers" and its impactful programming and events, along with initiatives such as their Startup Opportunity Fund, Accelerate South Jersey, and AccelerateRU. These programs unite members of the Rowan community and the broader region from diverse backgrounds and disciplines to support entrepreneurial thinking. Additionally, RCIE's interdisciplinary hubs, Studio 231 and Creatives 230, were highlighted for their approach to promoting collaborative innovation, creativity, and experiential learning.
RCIE Assistant Director Jessica Vattima attended the Triple E Awards ceremony in São Paulo, Brazil, representing Rowan University as one of the finalists. Jessica emphasized the significance of this recognition, stating, "Being named a finalist on a global stage is a great honor for the university and further validates the incredible opportunities and resources our students have to learn and grow through our programs."
