2022 Byrd and Ross Medallion Recipients Announced
The Byrd and Ross Medallion Awards are prestigious awards bestowed to Rowan University seniors who give back to the Rowan entrepreneurship community and demonstrate perseverance along the way.

The Ross Medallion Award is bestowed upon a senior engaged in and supportive of Rowan’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. We are proud to announce the recipient of the 2022 Ross Medallion award is Jimmy Benavente (Entrepreneurship '22).

The Byrd Medallion Award was established through the generosity of Rowan alum Greg Payton who noted: "Professor Byrd inspired me to think bigger and work harder. He emphasized the importance of service above self, academic achievement, perseverance, and an entrepreneurial mindset." We are proud to announce the recipient of the 2022 Ross Medallion award is Michael Weinberg (Engineering Entrepreneurship '22).

Rowan entrepreneur aims to open on Rowan Boulevard
Julian Doroteo (Entrepreneurship '22) was recently featured on Rowan Today. Julian shared that he transferred to Rowan to study Entrepreneurship so that he could one day open his own barber shop on Rowan Boulevard. Read more here.
Joe Cosgrove receives Distinguished Alumnus Award
Congratulations to Joe Cosgrove '00, CEO of Pentec Health, who received this year's Distinguished Alumnus Award. Cosgrove has earned many professional accolades throughout his career and, under Cosgrove's leadership, Pentec Health has become an industry leader in providing patient-specific medications in dialysis centers and in-home settings. Wawa CEO visits Rowan
Chris Gheysens, CEO of Wawa, presented a talk and Q&A session to students of the Rohrer College of Business. Gheysens, who grew up in South Jersey, shared his story and experiences as CEO of the 29th largest company in the nation according to Forbes. Read more here.

Rowan '22 Grad accepts internship at Revel Nail
