RCIE NEWS: OCTOBER 2019 EDITION
Rowan's Entrepreneurial Ecosystem At-A-Glance
Greetings from the Rowan Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship!

This month we were thrilled to participate in the global celebration of Women Entrepreneurship Week 2019 (WEW). More than 200 universities and colleges in 30 countries and 43 U.S. states join in the movement to recognize female entrepreneurs and women in business.

A few WEW highlights included CEO Club's event with Pooja Chandnani Daney and Gal Danay, founders of "WOOPS!" bakeshop, who discussed their entrepreneurial journey and how they came to operate 50 franchises across the country. RCIE and Bank of America Private Bank joined forces to bring together a panel of local and successful female business owners. And RCIE ran it's second annual Women's Inspiration and Innovation Power Summit that featured keynote speaker Dr. Brandi Baldwin. Read more about WEW below!

We hope you continue to follow the RCIE on StartupTree and through our monthly newsletters, which will keep you informed about upcoming events, programs, and funding opportunities taking place across Rowan's growing entrepreneurial ecosystem.

As always, thanks for supporting the Rowan Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Best,
Eric Liguori, PhD
Executive Director and Rohrer Chair of Entrepreneurship
