Congratulations to Dr. Ben McLarty who received the 2023 Best Reviewer Award for his outstanding reviewing for the Entrepreneurship Division at the 83rd Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management.

Rowan welcomed students and alumni back to campus for the annual Homecoming celebration. SIE's tailgate tent showcased Rowan startups including Julian Doroteo (Entrepreneurship '22) of Shears, Madison Mahon (Marketing '22) of East Coast Jewels, Siena Rampulla (MBA '25) of PULLATracker, Harrison Nastasi (Management/Entrepreneurship '26) and Justin Iannelli (Management '26) of Bobica Bars, and Shaila Saini (Marketing '26) of Lushious Beauty.

The SIE was a proud exhibator at TechUnited's 2023 Propelify held in Hoboken, NJ. Rowan student startups PULLATracker, 4U Medical Designs, Circlez, and Bobica Bars had the opportunity to showcase their innovations and network with hundreds of entrepreneurs at the event.

This month, entrepreneurs from the South Jersey region participating in SIE's Accelerate South Jersey (ASJ) program completed a six-week Bootcamp phase. During this time, they applied a design thinking approach to advance their business ideas. The group now moves on to the next phase, where they will collaborate with mentors and consultants to bring their ideas to life. Learn more about the ASJ initiative here.

Aiden Tahmazian (Mechanical Engineering '26) of Circlez and Siena Rampulla (Psychology '23, MBA '25) teamed up with two other student startup founders to host "From Idea to Reality." Over 60 students from universities across the region, including Rowan, Yale, and Harvard, tuned in to the webinar which discussed their personal experiences in bringing their business ideas to life.
