Please see the PTB the security announcement below regarding requirements for access to PTB main offices.
Port Tampa Bay currently issues the Port Business Purpose card, more commonly known as the PTB ID Badge, to PTB employees (blue/white), traditional port tenant employees (green/white), and contractors (red/white) that have a business purpose at various locations throughout port property. In an effort to make our access control process at 1101 Channelside Dr. more efficient, anyone in possession of valid PTB ID badge may use their credential as a “flash-pass” for access through the recently established visitor screening process. Upon arriving at the main lobby entrance, show the security officer a valid PTB ID, and once cleared, proceed to your destination. No information will be logged. Please note that a Security officer
MUST
visually verify the PTB ID badge presented each time you access the building through visitor management, for expedited access to be granted; and the PTB ID badge must be current.
For those tenants that do not have a PTB badge, and only require access to the main administrative building at 1101 Channelside Dr., the Port Security Department has developed a “Tenant Employee 1101” port badge (black/white), that can only be used at that location. Once received, this credential may be used as a “flash-pass” for expedited access through visitor management. Upon arriving at the main lobby entrance, show the security officer a valid PTB ID, and once cleared, proceed to your destination. No information will be logged. Please note that a Security officer
MUST
visually verify the PTB ID badge presented, for access to be granted.
The tenant employee 1101 badge will
NOT
be accepted for access at any other PTB access point.
