ENVIROCERT ACQUISITION OF CERTIFIED HYDROSEED PROFESSIONAL & THE INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF HYDROSEED PROFESSIONALS 

Over the past few months, EnviroCert International, Inc. (ECI) has been in detailed discussions with representatives of the Certified Hydroseed Professionals (CHP) and from the Board of Directors of the International Association of Hydroseed Professionals (IAHP). If you are receiving this email announcement, you are on a list provided to ECI by CHP/IAHP and we wanted to share updated news with each of you in hopes of sparking future interest.

As a result, ECI and CHP/IAHP have reached an agreement for ECI to acquire administration and management of the IAHP, and the CHP program.  The CHP program will be transitioning to a new ECI Certification entitled:

Certified Professional Installer in Hydroseed & Hydromulch (CPIHH)

ECI will be holding a series of introductory and vetting meetings to explain the transition and immediate transfer of the administration of the certification program, including the proposed development, updates, and expansion plans. Further, ECI would also like to solicit any input and recommendation from existing and previous CHP Certified Professionals as well as members of the IAHP.

We will also hold two (2) additional meetings where ECI Professionals will be invited to attend on:

 Important: You only need to attend one meeting, ECI will circulate an email if any new information arises from subsequent meetings. Also, we have only invited individuals that are or have previously been associated with CHP/IAHP to the first two sessions (as noted above). We hope that most of you can attend one of the first two sessions, but you are free to attend any session that works with your schedule.

ECI will record these meetings and provide a link for interested individuals to listen to discussions and will also provide a FAQ section on the CPIHH landing page for additional clarification. Therefore, you will have access to the information if you cannot attend one of the above meeting dates.

Any interested volunteers for the upcoming Steering Committee will be able to submit their resumes to ECI following these meetings.

During these meetings, we will explain the integration of the IAHP membership program into the new International Association of Water & Environmental Professionals (IAWEP) membership group that is being launched in the Winter of 2025 by ECI. We anticipate the initial IAWEP membership, and that of IAHP will be integrated into, will be over 10,000 members.
