This report, written by Emily Eaton and Simon Enoch, details the necessary connections that policy must make between climate and equity to ensure success. The report details the progress that the City of Regina has made in its Energy and Sustainability Framework (ESF) and it looks to what Regina can learn from other municipal jurisdictions.

The Saskatchewan Electric Vehicle Association is a nonprofit organization formed by a group of Environmentally conscious individuals. Their goal is to Accelerate the Adoption of Electric Vehicles in Saskatchewan.

THE ALTERNATIVE

The Alternative is a refillery and zero waste market located in Regina, Saskatchewan with the goal to inspire others to choose an alternative lifestyle by connecting them to quality, locally made and sustainable goods. They provide the opportunity to move towards a more sustainable lifestyle one step at a time whether it be through the refillery, zero waste alternatives or locally handmade goods. They feel that if everyone changed 1 or 2 habits in their life, the world would significantly benefit.

UPCOMING EVENTS

2023 will be a busy year for EnviroCollective and we hope it is a busy year for action on climate change! On February 9, as part of International Development Week, we will be joining Saskatchewan Council for International Cooperation (SCIC) for a documentary film screening of "The Great Green Wall" at the Royal Saskatchewan Museum Theatre.
