After a resistant start, Keasdon PCC have found encouragement and direction in developing their Environment Policy. Now they are looking for an urban church to partner with. Read more.

Caring for Creation at the Local Pub
All Saints' Kirby Hill moved to the pub for "an amazing, thought-provoking service" focusing on caring for God's world. "Absolutely brilliant", "If services were like this every Sunday, the church would be full" and "What talented and inspired lay people we have". Read more

All Things Churchyards
Over 150 delegates from across the Diocese came to last week's Churchyard Conference to learn more about opportunities for mission, biodiversity, mapping and the legalities in churchyards. More

People must consume less if the UK is to virtually halt greenhouse has emissions by 2050, the government's chief environment scientist has warned. What part will the church play in this transformation? More

The glacier called Okjokull, is the first in the country to be lost to climate change, after the warmest July ever on record. The country's Prime Minister attended the mock funeral held to lament the loss. More

The poll conducted for the development agency by ComRes found that a majority of adults in the UK (71%), believe that climate change is more pressing in the long-run than Brexit. Read more and find Christian Aid campaigning resources here

The Bishops of Guildford and Dorking, Andrew Watson and Jo Bailey Wells, have joined forces with other organisations in declaring a climate emergency and pledges to follow seven climate-care commitments. More
