We are called to work for life.

We are called to love creation.

We are grateful for all who worked so hard, and prayed for so many concerns during the legislative session that ended February 15.

This photo shows just some of the IPL volunteers who participated in environmental day at the Roundhouse February 9. It was a great day of visiting legislative leaders, tabling, offering an opening prayer for a noon event and encouraging one another in our sacred work. Thank you.

We were so pleased to share the day with author and ethicist Larry Rasmussen, who is part of IPL and who donated 3 copies of his recent book The Planet You Inherit: Letters to My Grandchildren When Uncertainty's a Sure Thing for a raffle. IPL invited those who signed up for the raffle to share the names of their beloved children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews so that we might pray for them and for wisdom for ourselves. In our March news notes we will invite you to pray with our young ones.

But now....congratulations to the winners of the raffle (books to be sent next week).

Representative Tara Lujan, Santa Fe
