Grants at Work!

Hear these testimonies from our grant beneficiaries:

From Cornerstone UMC grant recipient, New Orleans

"This funding has been essential for bringing our vision to life: creating a safe, welcoming, and supportive haven for our community in the aftermath of a hurricane or storm. The Community Lighthouse at Cornerstone UMC will provide critical public health support by serving as a cooling station, a reliable place to charge medical devices and electronics, and a safe location to store life-saving medications that need refrigeration. These resources directly benefit residents who have historically faced marginalization and limited access to essential services. Only with the support of the UMF can we make this vital resource a reality!"

From Broadmoor UMC grant recipient, Baton Rouge

"Thanks to your generous support, we’ve offered five transformative YogaMass experiences, blending yoga, breathwork, and Holy Communion to deepen participants’ connection with Christ. Hosted both at LSU Wesley and Broadmoor, each gathering has offered a unique, life-giving space where attendees have shared how these practices help them encounter the presence of Christ in a profoundly personal way."
