What do playing with Legos and building a sustainable future have to do with each other? Thanks to the Leonardo Museum's new City Blocks exhibit, more than you would think.
The exhibit uses Legos to get you thinking like a city planner: what actually goes into making a beautiful, livable, and sustainable city? Visitors get to enjoy Lego models of historic and interesting buildings in Salt Lake City and have a chance to build their own city out of Legos.
Data from our
Your Utah, Your Future
studies line the walls of the exhibit and highlight the reality of where our state is headed, showing what things look like now, and what they could like in 30 years in areas like transportation, recreation, air quality, tourism, and more.
Ari Bruening, Envision Utah COO, spoke at the opening of the exhibit and emphasized the importance of building the right formula for the future, not just for ourselves, but our children and grandchildren.
The City Blocks exhibit is going on now, be sure to check it out!
