Inspired by the story of Hildegard von Bingen, this piece explores the energetic relationship between sound and body, through moving, singing, and ritualizing by an all-female cast, while revealing the power and secrets of Hildegard’s life.

Commissioned by German-based company, Resistdance, Lonely Cowboys explores the American mythology of the cowboy and themes of individual dreams, power and isolation.
