Germantown, Tennessee, USA –
Epiphany Lutheran Church is offering an interactive Nativity Scene on Friday, December 6, 2019 from 4 – 7 pm, and again on Saturday, December 7, 2019 from 3 – 7 pm. The event will take place at the Epiphany Community Garden, located in Collierville, TN at the corner of Wolf River Blvd. and Bray Station Road.
The community is invited to come and be a part of the Nativity – costumes will be provided for everyone’s use, and participants are encouraged to bring cameras to take photos and post their pictures to social media using the hashtag #epiphanynativity. In addition to the Nativity Scene, congregation members are hosting a bonfire, and will be giving out candy canes.
“As we celebrate the Advent season, which begins on December 1, 2019, we spend time remembering the real meaning of Christmas,” said Pastor TroyAnn Poulopoulos, pastor of Epiphany Lutheran Church. “This Nativity Scene is our gift to the local community, and we hope it provides families and friends a chance to come together and prepare for the coming of Christ.”
Epiphany Lutheran Church will also be holding a family-friendly Christmas Eve service on December 24, 2019 at 5 pm. The service will be held at Schaeffer Memorial Chapel, 7887 Poplar Avenue, Germantown. All in the community are invited!
