A WEEKLY CONVERSATION WITH THE PASTOR

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1

There is an air of confidence in this prayer, that the Lord will protect and help us to overcome whatever trial or obstacles are in our way. We have nothing to fear because God promises to be with us. We are God's people and God will care for us!

We are in the SECOND WEEK OF LENT. We begin our Wednesday night meal (6pm) and devotion (6:30pm-7:30pm) program tonight! Our devotion will focus on spiritual discernment and how we make decisions in following God's will. We are using the workbook, Yearning to Know God's Will, by Danny Morris, and will be discussing the exercises in it that are related to many of Bible passages that speak of discernment.

THIS SUNDAY, March 17, we have Beer and Hymns scheduled at 6pm. It is also St. Patrick's Day, so we will be highlighting some of the Irish hymns in our hymnbook and drawing from the genre of Irish folk songs as well. Wear your green! Pizza will also be served. Invite your friends and join us as we fellowship and celebrate with an Irish flavor!

See you in church!
