Sunday Worship at Epiphany...
9:00 am Sunday School
10:00 am - Worship
A WEEKLY CONVERSATION WITH THE PASTOR

Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed. Mark 1:35.  On several occasions the gospels describe when Jesus deliberately goes to a solitary place, where he is alone, and prays. Oftentimes, it is when the crowds of people are following him because of the miraculous healings that he performed. Jesus sought this time away from the activity of human interaction, so that he could seek the will of God. There are a variety of ways that we can also find time away from our routine to seek God's will in prayer.

One great way to do this is by utilizing our camp ministries. We have a great resource within a couple hours of driving distance, at Camp Lutheridge and Camp Lutherock. There are other camps and retreat centers at the beach that are also available to us: Camp Kinard (Leesville, SC), Camp Agape (outside of Raleigh, NC), Isle of Palms Retreat Center (Mt. Pleasant, SC), and the Retreat Center at Kure Beach (near Wilmington, NC).

This Sunday will be Camp Sunday at Epiphany! We will have a guest, Zenan Sutton, with us from Lutheridge/Lutherock Ministries to share with us about summer camp and retreat opportunities for our children and youth, as well as programs and facilities that are available for adult groups. Camp ministry has been life changing for so many of us! God's Spirit is alive through camp and retreat ministries, enriching and providing guidance and direction to God's call upon our lives!

See you in church!

"HEAT AND AIR PROJECT" to replace the HVAC system in the worship area of this beautiful facility.  On January 20th, we started an appeal to collect funds to replace the heating/ventilation, and air conditioning system.  Additional information about this project has been included in the congregational mailing with the 2019 Ministry Spending Plan/Budget.  In order to make a contribution towards this project, we are asking people to designate their gift to:  "HEAT AND AIR PROJECT".  We are off to a great start!  Our goal is to collect the seed money toward this project by March 31st.   Thank you in advance for making a gift toward this project.
