UNC-Chapel Hill Scholar to speak at Winthrop on
Wednesday, April 19 - 3 p.m.

Dr. Charles Kurzman, co-director of the Carolina Center for the Study of Middle East and Muslim Civilizations at UNC Chapel Hill, will speak on the Winthrop University campus at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19. He will be accompanied by two Syrian refugees to tell their stories. Location for the talk will be the Owens Room G-02, Winthrop University campus.
Syrian Friendship Dinner on May 6, 5-7 p.m.

A variety of Middle Eastern food will be provided by Jasmine Grill. Tickets for this event are $20, 100% tax deductible. Proceeds will go to fund schooling for Syrian refugee children in Lebanon.
