Daylight Saving Time Ends

11/1—We return to Standard Time on Sunday, November 1. Be sure to set your clocks back one hour on Saturday Night.

Stewardship Update

We want to thank everyone who has made a pledge so far. Your generosity enables us to do all that we do and hope to do at Epiphany.

If you have not yet made your pledge, please consider doing so today as the Vestry will soon complete budget planning based on committed expected income.

Peace,

The Stewardship Team

How to make a pledge

We offer several ways to share your commitments of your time, talents, and treasure for the coming year — through your pledge card which you will receive next week, through your Realm log-in, or by clicking on the button here.

This Sunday

Epiphany T-Shirts Available for Purchase

A recurring theme in our vestry discussions is the importance of raising awareness of our parish in our surrounding communities. One opportunity you now have is to wear one of our new t-shirts as you are out and about. The front is simply our star logo and the back states our theme—We believe God loves you. No exceptions. T-shirts are $20, and will be available for purchase during coffee hour. If you would like to make special arrangements for purchase contact Beth Floyd.

Art Ministry

Epiphany Recycles

Recycling centers have found that recycling many types of plastics and metals is unprofitable. So DeKalb County and other counties have had to significantly change their rules about what they accept. Putting other types of materials into the blue recycling containers can ruin the whole container. In particular, they have gone from accepting most plastics to taking only taking very specific types.

One way that we, as people of faith, are called to be stewards of creation, is to recycle waste whenever we can. Please follow the link below if you use our recycle bins. DeKalb County significantly changed their rules about what they accept - particularly regarding plastics.
