From Rev Christen
Dear Epiphany Parish,

It was wonderful to see many of you at the plant sale this past weekend. I want to extend a big THANK YOU to Alison DiPasca, Jan Nuzzolo, and all of our volunteers who made this fundraiser possible.
I know that many of us are anxious to learn when we will be able to re-gather together in our sanctuary and I wanted to give you some updates about where we are in this process. On April 15th, our bishops sent out updated guidance for parishes. April 15 Pastoral Letter with COVID-19 Guidelines | Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts (diomass.org) In this letter, they encouraged all parishes to consider what level of in-person worship is appropriate for their context, while following the diocesan restrictions which are more conservative than what is allowed by the state. In response to that letter, I am reconvening our parish regathering committee to meet in the next few weeks to review the diocesan restrictions and make a proposal to be brought to our vestry for approval. This committee will work with our regathering shepherd (Pam Cormier) to determine what level of in-person worship is possible for our parish.
Until a plan is made, we will continue offering outdoor worship on our driveway as well as live-streaming our worship service to Facebook Live. If you feel it is safe for you to do so, I hope that you will join us in-person! We have strict social distancing and mask wearing protocols in place to keep everyone safe.
I have no doubt that we be back in our sanctuary by the fall, maybe sooner. In the meantime, get vaccinated and keep doing all the things to keep yourself and each other healthy. It has been a long difficult year but there is real hope that we will be able to be together inside soon.

Peace in Christ,
Rev. Christen
Epiphany Parish Annual Meeting
Sunday, June 6th In-Person and Outdoors
In advance of our Annual Meeting in June, the Nominating Committee is accepting nominations for leadership positions in our parish. Beginning today, you may submit nominations by emailing nominations.epiphany@gmail.com or by calling the church office and leaving a voice mail. We will be voting on all vestry officers (Senior Warden, Junior Warden, Clerk, and Treasurer) each for a one year term. We will also be electing two members-at-large, each for a three-year term. We will also be electing representatives to Deanery Assembly and Diocesan Convention.
You may nominate yourself or someone else by Wednesday, May 19th. If you would like to nominate someone for a position, please get that person's permission before placing their name in the box. If you have any questions, please email George Ford, Mark Helm, or call the office.
When you submit your nominations, be sure to include:
1.    The name of the person you are nominating
2.    The position you are nominating them for
3.    Contact information for the person you are nominating (don't assume we have it in the office)
4.    Your name
If you are considering taking on a leadership role at Epiphany and would like to learn more about what that is like, please reach out! I'd love to discuss this more with you!
