From Rev Christen
Dear Epiphany Parish,

In advance of our Annual Meeting in June, the Nominating Committee is accepting nominations for leadership positions in our parish. Normally we accept nominations physically at the church, but this year, the nominations committee has created an email address for you to submit nominations. Beginning today, you may submit nominations by emailing nominations.epiphany@gmail.com or by calling the church office and leaving a voice mail. We will be voting on all vestry officers (Senior Warden, Junior Warden, Clerk, and Treasurer) each for a one year term. We will also be electing two members-at-large, each for a three-year term. We will also be electing representatives to Deanery Assembly and Diocesan Convention.

You may nominate yourself or someone else by Wednesday, May 19th. If you would like to nominate someone for a position, please get that person's permission before placing their name in the box. If you have any questions, please email George Ford, Mark Helm, or call the office.

When you submit your nominations, be sure to include:
  1. The name of the person you are nominating
  2. The position you are nominating them for
  3. Contact information for the person you are nominating (don't assume we have it in the office)
  4. Your name

If you are considering taking on a leadership role at Epiphany and would like to learn more about what that is like, please reach out! I'd love to discuss this more with you!

Peace in Christ,
Rev. Christen

Epiphany Parish Annual Meeting
Sunday, June 6th In-Person and Outdoors

Annually we gather as a parish to do the business of the church. We ratify a budget, elect officers and vestry members, look back on the year past, and look ahead & plan for the coming year. So be sure to plan to stay after church on Sunday, June 6th for the Parish annual meeting. This is an opportunity to learn more about our church and its mission and to celebrate the ministry that has occurred over the past difficult year. This meeting will take place outdoors. Mask wearing and social distancing will be enforced.

Our by-laws state that, "Any baptized person of the age of sixteen years or more who declares an intention to support the Parish by regular attendance at public worship and by financial support, shall be considered a member of this parish and entitled to vote in its affairs"

All are welcome to attend the annual meeting, but only members may vote.
Finance Committee
The Finance Committee meets periodically to review the current finances of the church, provide input and consultation on budget preparation, and provide financial planning for the long term financial health of our Parish. If you are interested in being a part of this work, please contact the Church office.

Although we appreciate anonymous drop-offs/donations it really does help if you sign up by e-mailing the office (office.epiphany@verizon.net) to let us know what you plan to bring. Please do not drop off your fruit early as we want to make sure it is fresh when it arrives!
