Episcopal 101

Beginning Monday June 1, 2026

Are you considering being confirmed or received into the Episcopal Church, or are you curious about what this whole "Episcopal Church thing" is about? Here is your chance.

Beginning Monday, June 1, a new session of Episcopal 101 will be offered, meeting each Monday evening in June at 6:30 PM in the Forum, preceded by worship in the Quire. The course is an introduction to the Episcopal Church and Anglicanism more generally, covering our history, beliefs, worship, and how we are organized.

  • June 1: Episcopal Identity: History and the Book of Common Prayer
  • June 8: Episcopal Authority: Scripture, Tradition and Reason
  • June 15: Episcopal Temperament: Faith Seeking Understanding
  • June 22: Episcopal Spirituality: Liturgy, Prayer and Service
  • June 29: Episcopal Polity: Committees, Conventions, and Communion

While the course serves as preparation for confirmation or reception when Bishop Greg makes his first visitation on July 12, everyone is welcome, whether you have been Episcopalian your whole life or are just getting started.

Please contact Fr. Luis if you have any questions.
