Bishop Calls for Diocesan Convention
I n accordance with the Constitution of the Church, the Bishop must issue a call for a Diocesan Convention at least 25 days prior to the Convention. This serves as that electronic notice that Diocesan Convention will be held April 24th and 25th at the Cathedral Church of St. Mark, Salt Lake City. The Diocese will have a convention website with registration information, nomination forms for diocesan office, resolution forms, and other material. It will be online February 18th.
Diocesan Positions Open for Election at Convention
Bishop Scott B. Hayashi and your officers of the Diocese invite you to consider running for open positions on Diocesan Council and the Standing Committee. There will be two positions open on the Standing Committee (one cleric and one in the lay order) and two on Diocesan Council in the lay order (one at-large and one for Southern Region.) Nomination forms will be available on the convention website on February 18th. Additional elections will be held for Treasurer and Disciplinary Board members.
Visit New Bishop Search Website for Information on Search Process
A new website dedicated to the Diocese of Utah Bishop Search is up and running. It can be found by visiting utahbishopsearch.org . This site will be the resource for all information throughout the process, including forms, surveys, news and videos.

A link to the Bishop Search Site is also available in the banner at the top of the diocesan website.

He and host Craig Wirth also discuss the Presiding Bishop Michael Curry's Way of Love and how it inspires Christians to think differently about the power of love in our world today.
